Thank you all for the great feedback so far! It has been almost 2 weeks since we sent the last big batch of Sketchmarks, and are happy to see them finally arriving to our international customers. We have received confirmation from backers in Canada, UK, India, Japan and Germany so far. We hope the rest of the international orders will continue to be delivered in the coming days.
Nearly all our US orders should have been delivered by last week. We did have a small issue with a few orders missing the product in the US, but we think most all of those have been resolved with replacements. If you are a US backer and have not received your order, please let us know!
International orders, please continue to be patient if you have not received your order yet. You can track your order with your tracking number at apc-pli.com. As we mentioned before there are limited tracking updates for international orders due to the low cost of our international shipping. However, we have had great success with this service in the past and know they will be getting to you soon.
For those of you who have been using your Sketchmark, we are always happy to hear feedback! We were fortunate to receive good feedback from our first campaign to improve the original Sketchmark and help launch the Sketchmark BUJO Card. We are now working to spread Sketchmark to more customers and see where the product takes us in the near future. Our Sketchmarks finally arrived! After a quick quality control check, we are very happy with the final products and can't wait to get them in the hands of backers! The updated packaging design works great at protecting the cards while making them easier to access and the improved material makes the cards much more durable.
So far, about 250 orders for US backers are out the door! Unfortunately, we did not anticipate receiving the cards as quick as we did, and many of the US orders were printed with ship dates between Tuesday-Thursday of this week. We have packaged these orders already and will be getting them to the post office on the ship dates we listed on the shipping labels. Please be patient and allow up until Thursday to receive your tracking number/tracking updates.
With only a handful of US orders left to ship, we will be turning towards the international orders very soon. As we have done in the past, we will individually package and label these orders and then send them as a full group to our shipping partner in Chicago. From here they are broken down by country and will be shipped from there. They will be delivered by your local post. When you receive a tracking number, you can use their website https://www.apc-pli.com/apc-tracking.html to see tracking information. Please allow several days for the packages to begin tracking in the system.

If you have any problems with your order when you receive it, please send us a direct message or email to [email protected]. With over 1,000 orders going out, we know a few orders may be missing certain pieces or have the wrong address listed. We also try to pull out any defect cards during packaging, but we know a few may slip through. Please send us an email and any photos so that we can quickly get any issues fixed.

Because we have received a few messages, we wanted to share our recommendations for notebooks and pens to use with Sketchmark. These are largely based on items available here in the United States, and we are always open to other suggestions from backers!
Both the original Sketchmark and BUJO Expansion Card rely on a 5mm x 5mm grid for certain features. We have put together a list of our favorite notebooks with 5mm x 5mm dot grids or squares:
Pens are an important part of bullet journaling, especially with stencils! We have primarily used 2 types of pens for our photos, videos and testing. Below are what we love to use the most:
Stabilo Point 88 Fineliner Pens
Stabilo Point 88 Pens come in a variety of colors. These are the pens we used to create most of our Kickstarter video. What makes them great is that they are fine enough to work well with the stencils, but bold enough to make your journaling stand out. Below is a quick 1-minute photo of the Stabilo pens being used with the BUJO Expansion Card.
.38 mm pens (or other ultra-fine pens)
To have even more control, we love using .38mm ultra-fine pens when trying to create outlines. This is especially nice for the monthly tracker boxes and the journaling icons. They are also great for writing numbers in the monthly tracker boxes. You can even pair these with colored markers to fill in your boxes and icons.
Two pens that we love are Pilot G-2 .38 and MUJI .38 Capped Gel-Ink Pens. Below is a quick 1-minute photo of us using MUJI Gel-Ink Pens. (the boxes have been filled in with Stabilo Fineliner colors)
With so many pen options out there, we are sure you will find your favorite ones to use with Sketchmark. Overall, we believe a combination of ultra fine and thicker colored options work best.
